Description
This 4-session workshop will give you expert guidance and practice in learning to listen to important people in your life such as your partner, child, friends and co-workers.
In this workshop series, you will:
Practise listening to different people to appreciate the variety of styles of expression and delivery and how you attune to each person differently.
Respond to another to show that you hear not only the information they share, but also their thoughts, feelings, expectations, desires and longings.
Discover your own barriers to listening.
This is a course in discovery of the self and other, of the rich and complex inner world of humans, and how being heard is one of the greatest gifts you can give and receive from one another. What you learn will enhance your relationships and negotiation of differences at work and at home.
Learning to listen is always better with people important to you. Invite your family and friends to join us for 4 Sunday mornings.
Presenter & Facilitator
Bonnie Lee, RSW, PhD is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist and a professor in Addictions Counselling at the University of Lethbridge. Dr. Lee has over 25 years of experience counselling couples and families. She is the developer of a Congruence Couple Therapy model that has research evidence to show how congruent, effective communication improves emotion regulation, work and family functioning, and reduces mental health and addiction symptoms. Dr. Lee received a university research chair award in recognition of her leadership in couple therapy research in the addiction field. A highly rated speaker, she has trained internationally including Australia, China, Greece, Turkey, Malaysia, Singapore and the U.S.

Cancellation
Course Fee is not refundable;
The seat is transferable with the condition that the organiser must be notified at least TWO (2) WEEKS before course commencement. RM60 will be charge as admin fee
